Family fun is important no matter what age your children are. It helps strengthen familial bonds and builds memories to last a lifetime. But, it can be difficult as your children get older to find activities that both you and your teenagers will enjoy together.

Here at Bullwinkle’s, we know all about that, which is why we offer an array of different activities that we know can be enjoyed by the entire family – no matter what the age! From offering high-class bowling near Seattle, to laser tag, to a special XD theater, we have everything you could think of, and more.

Bowling

Now, before your teenagers hear the word “bowling” and start rolling their eyes as they imagine old-school lanes from the 1950s, be sure to erase this image from their mind from the get-go. Bowling near Seattle has advanced in recent decades, including right here. This is thanks much in part to special lighting and great food.

We are proud to host Bowlwinkle Lanes, home to our sixteen-lane bowling center. And prices are some of the best around as $50 + tax will get you and up to five other guests your own lane and an hour of play. Shoes, of course, are provided, so be ready to take that fun, family group shot bowling shoes.

Laser Tag

Children of all ages love laser tag! What better family fun for teenagers than being able to play against their parents, trying to beat them? The fun is also escalated when the laser tag arena is filled with added bonuses such as strobe lights, fog, and music, like it is at our venue.

You can choose to play together or match up as opponents, battling children against parents. Whoever has the highest score, wins! Who wouldn’t want those bragging rights?

If you are part of a bigger family, this is perfect for you as well as up to 16 people can play in each game. Please do note though that each participant must be 44 inches or taller to play, eliminating most children under 7 years old.

XD Theater

This is not your stereotypical movie theater. At Bullwinkle’s, you’ll experience a multi-seat 6D motion simulated thrill ride that transcends time, space, and imagination. It’s a ride, and a movie! How’s that for family fun? Ten riders at a time can enjoy high definition motion-based entertainment films.

There are many 6D films that you and your family may choose from. Here is a glimpse of ones your teenagers may especially enjoy:

  • Pirates Rapids – In this film, you must fight your way out. You and your family will start from the top of a mountain and ride the vertiginous water slide throughout the jungle park. Beware, as you then plunge underground to a ghost town that is inhabited by hostile skeleton pirates that do not want you there!
  • Dino Safari – The question of this film asks, who will escape, you and your family or the dinosaurs? If your family is a fan of Jurassic Park, this movie is for you! Enjoy a unique tour of the dinosaur reserve and get within touching distance of these giants, such as the ever-popular and ferocious T-Rex. But, beware as disaster will strike and chaos will begin.
  • Road Hoggers – In this film, a crazy hog farmer is running loose on his tractor. You and your family will meet and interact with his whole clan of characters as they attempt to dodge vehicles and other things in their loose tractor.
  • Cosmic Coaster – If you and your family are fans of roller coasters, this is the one for you. It’s not your average roller coaster, as this one glides through space! Yes, you and your family can reach for the stars on this ride.
  • Haunted Mine – Are your teenagers fans of fright? In the haunted mine film, you and your family will be taken through an old, broken-down haunted gold mine.

Batting Cages

Is your family a fan of America’s greatest pastime? Let your teenagers live out their major league dreams by going to the batting cages as a family. Who can hit the ball the farthest? Who will get the most strikeouts? Turn the batting cages into a fun competition – your teenagers are sure to love that.

At Bullwinkle’s, we have eight batting cages available for you to enjoy. These cages range from 40 mph to 70 mph, so you can easily toggle to meet your needs. There are also both softball and baseball options.

It is important for us to note that the batting cages are only open at our facility if the playing field and lower level of the cages are dry. If you are planning on visiting our batting cages as part of your family fun day out, please call beforehand to confirm that they are open.

Cages can also be reserved during the week, $20 for 30 minutes or $30 for one hour – family fun that won’t break the bank!

Bumper Cars

These may be a staple from your past, but who doesn’t love a little nostalgia? Plus, now that your children are older, you can take bumper cars to the next level, as they can now drive there on their own. Have each family member get into their own car and see who can bump the most people (or who avoids getting bumped the most).

As a reminder, our bumper cars are only one-seated attractions and you must be 44 inches or taller to ride. We do add on to the bumper car fun by allowing you to spin, bump, and battle your friends – few rules apply on our roads.
